OK , folks,please, don’t be fooled. What Ms. Pelosi and her gang is trying to cram through is NOT “health care reform” it’s “Expanded Government Control.” Those of us that oppose the proposed bills (I still don’t understand why any bill has to be NINETEEN HUNDRED PAGES-they can’t outline thing in maybe, 50 or 100 pages–WAIT, then it wouldn’t be impossibly complicated; my bad)-are NOT OPPOSED TO “HEALTH CARE REFORM!” We are opposed to further government control of a huge part of our economy and millions of lives when said government has shown it is totally ineffiicient ($6,000 hammers, anyone?), corrupt (Chairman of Tax Committe refuses to take a leave when he’s being investigated for Tax Violations–Good Morning, Mr. Charles Rangel), hyprocritical (propreitor of a teenage homosexual prostitution ring lectures folks on propriety) and arrogance (same gentleman states that the “very wealthy” if “slightly taxed” would not “even miss the money.” (Oh, hi, Mr. Barney Frank; hope you’re having a nice weekend). We definitely need health care reform, not of the health care, or even the acessibiltiy, but the PRICES, which AFFECTS the accessibility. It would seem if you put the emotion and partisanship and Big Media propoganda aside, everyone would agree on that, but no–we can’t have that–that would be REASONABLE, and then what? Why isn’t the Congress doing the “people’s business” and working to give us TRUE “health care reform?” OH, WAIT! The trial lawyers, big pharma, big insurance, the SIEU, other unions, and so forth, pay them too much money not to! How could I forget? And folks understand , these gangsters of Pelosi’s are not “Progressives” they are Marxists. They believe in taking your money and giving it to someone else, because if that someone else does not happen to be as fourtunate/hard working/sucessfull/blessed as you, well, thats only “fair.” And I’m VERY disappointed in the President, whom I admire, respect and voted for, for not standing up to these radicals. He only makes himself look further left than he is in the process.

I’m curious what would you suggest we do? I personally like what I have read so far about what seems to be teh final bill, or close to it. It contais both a government option which would basiclly expand madicare and leave most people with privatly purchased health care coverage.
I think the scariest option is a mandate for all people to purchase coverage without a government option because thqat would put us at the mercy of huge insurence companies who are know not to have much mercy.
